Find Your Business Listing

Search for your business on South Florida Locals using your business name, address, or phone number. Most South Florida businesses already have a basic listing in our directory from public data sources.

Can’t find your listing? No worries! You can create a new listing in just 60 seconds and claim it immediately during the creation process.

Search tips for best results:

  • Try your exact business name first

  • Search by your business phone number

  • Use your street address if name search doesn’t work

Submit Your Claim Request

Once you find your listing, look for the red “Claim This Business” button on the listing page. Click it to open the claim form. You’ll need to provide basic information about yourself and your relationship to the business.

Information required in the claim form:

  • Your full name and title/position at the business

  • Business phone number where you can be reached

  • Brief explanation of your relationship to the business

  • Any corrections needed to the existing listing information

Phone Verification by Our Team

After you submit the claim form, our verification team will personally call you to verify your ownership of the business. We personally call each business to prevent fraudulent claims and ensure legitimate owners. This personal touch helps us maintain the integrity of our directory.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

I don’t see a “Claim This Business” button

This usually means the listing is already claimed and verified. Look for a “Verified Business” badge. If you believe this is an error or someone fraudulently claimed your business, contact our support team immediately.

The claim form won’t submit

Ensure all required fields are filled out completely and you’re logged into your account. Try refreshing the page and submitting again. If issues persist, try a different browser or clear your browser cache.

Your team hasn’t called me yet

We typically call within 4-6 hours during business days. Ensure the phone number in your claim form is correct and can accept calls. If urgent, email hello@southfloridalocals.com to expedite your verification.

My claim was denied

You’ll receive notification explaining the reason for denial. Common reasons include insufficient proof of business ownership or inability to verify contact information. You can resubmit with additional documentation or contact support for clarification.
